Spanish Riding and Lightness Clinics
Manuel Trigo
February 2008, contact
Michel Goldman for info 303-688-4007
Mr. Trigo is the owner of El Caballo Rey, an Equestrian Dinner Theater in Costa Rica. He rides and trains Andalusians for dressage, exhibition, Doma Vaquera, Alta Escuela, and High School. He will be presenting a clinic on LIGHTNESS. He says, "Lightness is a philosophy, not a style. Today, too many riders don't enjoy their own horses because they don't ride in lightness (fighting with the reins, too much tension, too much leg, too much seat, etc.. ) During this clinic we start doing some ground-work, and a big variety of exercises under saddle to learn to separate aids and teach and keep the horses light." Private lessons on Piaffe and Passage, Doma Vaquera and Alta Escuela will also be available. Ongoing clinics available several times a year.
